⚠️ Safe Working Procedures (Confined Space – Tank Work)
All works to be carried out under confined space regulations with a valid permit to work.
Risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) to be briefed to all operatives before starting.
Continuous gas monitoring for oxygen levels, flammable gases and toxic vapours.
Forced mechanical ventilation to maintain safe air quality.
Operatives to wear full PPE and RPE:
Blast helmets / air-fed masks.
Protective suits.
Gloves and safety boots.
Use of intrinsically safe lighting and equipment where required.
Rescue plan in place including trained standby man at entry point at all times.
All personnel trained in confined space entry and emergency procedures.
Safe access/egress via secured ladders or manways.
Equipment inspected and maintained before use (hoses, compressors, spray units).
Strict control of ignition sources during coating works.

⚠️ Safe Working Procedures (Working at Height – MEWP / Cherry Picker)
All works to comply with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
Operatives must hold valid MEWP certification (e.g. IPAF) for the category of machine being used.
A site-specific Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) to be completed and briefed before work begins.
Pre-use inspection of the MEWP to ensure it is in safe working condition.
Ground conditions assessed to ensure they are stable, level and suitable for the equipment.
Work area to be cordoned off to prevent unauthorised access below.
